monitor problem....

LCD monitor worked fine till I used moderate force to unstick it from desk.... now when I turn it on it blacks out after two seconds. I turn the monitor off and back on and in two seconds the monitor goes black. I get a normal view of my desktop, no distortion or bad color, before it goes black. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

like i said before, just check the connection on ur power cord, that sounds like a power problem
