    I have this monitor:
    FLATRON L1932TQ by LG

    4ms Response Time
    1400:1 Contrast Ratio

(Computer Specs can be found here)

For some odd reason, when I plug it into my computer nothing shows. Black screen. It does have power, but it just won't read anything. Any help?

    Thanks in advanced,

Have you made absolutely certain that it is the monitor that is not working? i.e., have you hooked the questionable monitor to another computer that you are certain is functioning correctly to see if you still do not get a display, or hooked another working monitor to the computer to make certain you get a display?

If the monitor still does not get a display on a computer you are certain is functioning properly, or another working monitor does get a display on your system, then your best bet is probably to hit the market for a new monitor.

If another working monitor cannot get a display on your system, or if the questionable monitor gets a display on another system, then you're looking at another piece of hardware causing the problem.

I have found out I need a driver. Sadly, I cannot find a single one for this model. I am going to keep looking, if anyone stumbles upon this driver, well that will just make my day :)
