That really doesn't help much what you've posted. But it shouldn't have anything to do with a ram problem. At a guess do you have another Video card in the computer? Or is the onboard card disabled or fried?

If you have an old moniter that probably your problem, or you could have your motherboard hooked up wrong. Im not too familiar with that, never ran into it before.

When you say PCI-Express. You are talking about the PCI-EXPRESS X16 slot (looks similar to the agp slot). There are also PCI-EXPRESS 1x (2x?) slots.

What Motherboard are you using? Brand and model would be quite helpful.

Also, what model of monitor(lcd/crt) are you using?

    New MOBO?
Old HDD from another PC that already has an OS installed?
Anytime you set up new MOBO your BIOS need to be configured.
Anytime a MOBO is replaced with one of different brand/chipset etc. a reinstall of Windows is needed (that is what I suspect your problem is)

When posting a problem, list your system specs & details of your problem cause your "hella confusing"
