Good for them catching them, let alone on video. Law enforcement goes out of boundaries in all aspects it seems anymore. If there is no incident they will create one for sure.

 

And if it isn't the cops, it is poeple sent by 'The Smoking Man" (yeah, I do believe that there is a government we know nothing about )

Absolutely, so do I. Bits and pieces emerge now and again, usually after a generation or so where no one is left to be accountable.

Portray protesters as violent trouble makers and eventually outlaw protesting altogether.

 

In this case it was very simple. If violence were to break out, all the protesters could be moved away. It would no longer be a lawful protest. The Canadian government embarrasses very easily when protesters show up to do what they're legally entitled to do.

 

Pretty scary stuff,a peaceful protest and the police turn up dressed a stormtroopers :eek thats another big problem with the police,thier gear, they are becoming too closely entangled with the military,you cant even make out the officers faces and they have no markings to identify them if they seriously hurt someone

 

The police gain nothing, but they do follow orders. Police are the active agent for the government, according to the social contract they are supposed to follow the law. But what happens when the government wants to break the law, or supress ligitament discussions. This is is what happens.

I suspect Canadians, bless their hearts, just aren't as practiced as America. Russia has it down to a fine art. I've always felt Canadians are a bit more civilized than Americans in general.
