Ok I installed Windows XP Home with SP2, boots to the loading screen, I have the little loading bar. All is well then right before the login screen pops up it blue screens and restarts. Now here is the funny part, it works great in safe mode. I have unplugged everything but the keyboard, mouse, power and moniter, taken all he PCI stuff out to where only the video card is in. I have 1 single hard drive installed and I have reinstalled about 4 times now. Any ideas?

    Disable automatic restart.

My Computer > Properties, Advanced, Startup and Recovery >Settings.

Under system failure, uncheck auotmatically restart. Do it from Safe Mode, then reboot and give the full verbatim error message that pops up.

It is the basic blue screen "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer"

    The "Technical Data reads"

    *** STOP: 0x0000007F (0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000,0x00000000)

    Beginning dump of physical memory

    Does that help?

    A little.

There is a file that was created in C:\windows\minidump that has a filename of today. Please zip it and attach it in a post.

Both crashes were caused by nv4_mini.sys.

It is part of the Nvidia forceware video drivers.

Try the latest version. If that doesn't work, try going a version or two backwards.

Can you load drivers in safe mode?

No, but you can remove them :D

Then boot up, download the latest and install them.
