more bluetooth probs

Bluetooth is loaded on my tower. The os for the tower is wxp-sp2 home. I have 2 bluetooth devices, a bluetooth phone and a bluetooth PDA. Both of these devices show up on the Main bluetooth window, reflecting that the bluetooth network has found and recognizes them. I can get them both to appear colored yellow (ready to transmit/receive). The device I'm having trouble with is the phone. I can't initiate any connectivity with the PAN to make the device color turn green on the main window. When opening other dialog box's to initiate services the device list does not list the phone and I can't find a way to add it. The bluetooth manual on line doesn't provide me with any troubleshooting for this problem. I haven't contacted IVT corp yet.
Can anyone help???

 

What is the model of the Phone handset?

 

bluetooth phone is a LG VX8100. I hope that's the handset ur referring 2.

 

Let me guess also, Verzon is your carrier? If you have Verizon, there will be no way in the world to get the handset Bluetooth to work with a computer, due to if you have not heard, they disable it. The good news though, your Bluetooth earpiece will work.

 

They disable certain bth profiles. File transfer won't work, for instance.

I connect my V710 to my powerbook all the time. Contacts and calendar sync fine.

People have connected the 8100 via Mac. It should be quite possible via Windows.
