More help needed!

Befor you aks no i haven updated to SP2 yet...i have actually been away a couple of weeks and have not had the time.

Today i went on my computer after being away to see what my brother had been looking up on...and it appears he downloaded a P2p program called something like "shareaza"?

and he seems to have downloaded a dud file and got some type of trojan. my virus scanner picked that up and deleted it.

but when i checked my add/remove programs it has "advertismen" listed. i looked that up on the net and found out it was malware. I precided to do the "read and run my tutorial" but that doesnt seem to have worked.

i tried pressing remove from add/remove but it appears agian on next start up. I then went into HJT and went into the config>misc tools and went to the uninstall manager and uninstalled "Advertismen" from there...and it removed it. i then checked my add/remove programs...and it isnt listed anymore.

but im having some troubles...on the net i cant copy and paste and things are slowing down my computer.

 

I only use firefox.

Things seem to be alright now...i am able to cut and paste and things seem alright.
