Well, as soon as I've beaten back one wave of spam with message rules, here comes another! rolleyes

This new group of mail spam sends email to Windows Live Messenger with the "To" line seemingly blank. When I try to make a mesage rule to delete any messages that arrive with the "To" line blank to delete them, the rule builder won't let me enter "nothing, or blank space" in "Where the To line has people". I am assuming some value is in the "To" line, but it doesn't appear in the header.

Adding the endless stream of addresses to the blocked domain list is boring and ineffective, and MS knowledgebase search is exasperating.:cry

Anyone out there know how to deal with this?

It has been more than 10 years that I have stopped using rules to combat spam. I use my ISP's spam blocker, and that keeps me 100% spam-free.

I also have a Gmail account, which moves all spam to the spam folder.
