More SSD issues

Alright so I got my replacement SSD however I have the same issue. Here is what I've done

IDE > same issues
ACHI > Same issues

Changed the SATA cable

I got a new SSD from Intel.

Running in RAID mode now to see if it helps.

There is no issues running windows on my Regular HD.

I have a two drive config. One SSD one reg HD. Some stuff loads form the reg hd. Mainly games. SSD runs Winodws and some apps.

Issue is that Windows will lockup at random for no reason and nothing mainly triggers it.

Any suggestions?

Still cant find what is causing the issue. RAID mode didn't' change much. this isn't a common issue.

Hmm, Windows and SSD's ... which Windows?

 

Did you do the "F6 to install 3rd party driver" for your SATA controller during install, or are you just using the MSAHCI driver that comes in Windows 7?

does the problem go away if you disconnect your HDD and run just on the SSD?

 

I haven't tired to do that yet however I have things that run off my second HD.


I installed using ACHI and then installed the Intel RST Driver.

I disconnected my reg hd for now. Lets see if it causes it then.
