Morning yourself :D As for the amount of coffee, the more you drink, the more it takes to turn the engine over ;)

I'd take a cold shower, but I'm cold enough... I'm sure you haven't been out of NY long enough to forget what morning in January is like ;) The worst is yet to come, IMO though.

Keeping out of trouble for the most part... I think I kinda forgot how to find it

Wassup Halo, that's the only way to drink coffee, everything else is just filler and gets in the way of the caffeine :)

ACK! on the no sugar! *shudder* *passes David a coffee laced with sugar* ;)

Good morning to you sweet thang!:D How are things on your side of the pond? Was so foggy here this morning I couldn't see the pine trees that brush the window when it's breezy.

Oh heck NO! The cold is one thing I gladly left behind! We've been having really nice weather....shorts and tank top kind...we had planned on going to the beach Saturday but I wasn't feeling well...settled for a long walk yesterday.:D

Jay...I gotta say it...come out of your cave! You could never forget how to get in trouble! LOL j/k

Oh there was a time, back in the day before I knew about lawsuits, and didn't worry about what time I had to be somewhere the next day  Way back before I ever got my hands on a computer, I knew what it was like to party like a rockstar  I think I got over the hangover at some point last year

LOL it wasn't any big deal, I woke up after a Grateful Dead show I went to in Buffalo sleeping in the backseat of my friends car in Ohio. Just a serious case of disorientation and displacement

:( *kinda sounds like something Star would say, Mmmm what has he done to the lovely Abby?* ;)

It would be not a pretty sight me on sugar....TBH I have not had sugar unless its an additive in foods for around 15yrs.

Hey how are you doing with your design?

Morning Ken.... how is your part of the globe today?

My brother is coming up from Tampa next month, so that's gonna be like a delayed Christmas :D I've been making tenative plans to go down there near the end of May or early June. I'd love to be able to get over to the Atlantic side of the state, just don't know if that's possible. I'd love even more to go see a launch, and then sneak up on Star and give him a NASA-approved wedgie ;)

Where ya heading Lev? I'm originally from Western NY...the winters there are terrible...add the lake effect snows and we had it pretty bad at times...although I used to love just looking around after ice-storms...everything was so beautiful even though it was so dangerous.

  25. ICeMaN

    ICeMaN Master Sergeant

Compared to last year, we're having a pretty tame winter. Not a whole lot of snowfall yet, mostly rain, if you can believe it. No 20-30 below zero wind chills either, not that I'm bitching :D

Good morning Ken! :) Does it get pretty cold there? How's your lovely family doing?

Hey! Did you ever post pics of your trip? I might have missed them if you did....and if you didn't......*taps foot impatiently* YOU KNOW THE DRILL! :D

LOL It'd be worth it just to say I saw that view :) I was watching a show on PBS last night about the Martian Rovers Spirit and Oppurtunity, and was hoping to catch a glimpes of Rocket Boy, but the camera crew was hanging out at the JPL. Don't they know that all the dramatic stuff happens in Florida and Texas? WTF? ;)

I'm heading out to Oregon to be with my fiancé. It's 54F here. It's only 34F in Eugene *shivers*. However, the summers will be a totally different story :)

    HAHAHAHA! My lips are sealed!;)

I cannot drink coffee without it...I've tried..*gag*...same with tea..have to sweeten it a little. Sugar really is bad for you...I bought some stevia to try...people rave about it....hope I like it and it least it's a natural product unlike other sugar substitutes that are chemically created in a lab.

I wish the design work was keeping me busier...my biggest, and yet STILL not done task has been reloading and organizing all my stuff since the format. I goofed big time when doing my back-ups so everything is mess. Certain things I am in the habit of using...or a certain font I want to use takes me forever to locate because I can't remember the name of it....right now I'm lucky if I actually complete one thing a day...will be so glad once the organizing is done.

I'm sure Halo meant Star would be packin my ass in a capsule, sans the pressure suit, and smackin the "launch" button :D

Wassup Bluesman, that sounds like a migraine waiting to happen, or already happened, as the case may be. Gotta be lovin the peace and quiet now, huh?

It's going to be in the 40-50's today, but the office stays cool after a weekend - heater's running now. Supposed to get warmer by the end of the week LOL - Indian Summer in January. We'll probably really get it in February.

All's well with the family. We finally got the pics developed. We don't have a digital camera so nothing to post. One of the pictures taken of us, was going through the Buzz Lightyear ride - we're all trying to shoot at Zorg's Z's.-- great picture. If it's possible to select a few pics from their negative and have them put on a CD, I'll check on it. But your foot will be tapping for quite a while before that happens. :p

OBTW - any date yet? ;)

Oh! Poor Randy! *passes cup of coffee laced with brandy* There...that better?;)

I've been to a few of those parties...I always start out standing there grinning...having a ball enjoying the antics of the kids...the giggles...all that stuff...then I swear at some point something happens....maybe something in the cake?...the kids start growing horns...screaming and running around...things are getting knocked off tables...koolaid is spilled on carpets and furniture...someone gets sick cuz they ate/drank to much...I run screaming out the door vowing never to go to another one again...but I always end up going anyway..*THUD*

He has his trusty sidekick Solaris to do the dirty work ;) but I could see him with that Dr Evil smile as his thumb in on the launch button.

when i posted that earlier.. dunno why but I had the 3 Stooges theme tune in my head :D

@abby I know what you mean about all those fonts and remembering there names as most only have code numbers until you open them up, do you have a Fonts manager program, I have a free one from here thats good...

Actually, wherever she says kids, replace that with Star :D:D

Quiet over, oldest son is up, youngest soon to follow....man I gotta get a shower and get to the day job. Need to add another dollar to my money jar so I can replace my vehicle sometime in the near future...

On a lighter note, I did manage to find a magical piece of Alder for a guitar. Its big enough to just cut the body out of. I dont have to join to pieces together which will increase the tone and speed up the production time. Wife isn't happy about it lol. I still haven't started my workshop off the side of the house. I need a different style guitar to test client configs though. :D

No scanner there at work so you post them? *sniff, sniff* As for the foot tappin...I'm used to doing it for long periods of time...I live with star remember?;)

hmmmm ... that hadn't occured to me. I'll have to ask around on that.

:D If I get Aragorn to put his ear on the ground, can he trace it to your place? ;)

:):):) Make sure the shuttle has a banner trailing behind it.

Solaris is on leave being treated for a psychiatric disorder that developed as a result of someone sending her propositional PM's.

sorry;)...star made me do it *giggle*

As for the fonts....one of the first things I do is use a tiny font renamer proggie (free) so they all have the proper names and then make sure I don't have any duplicates by using clone spy...have used freebies that specifically look for duplicate fonts but they have all deleted fonts that were not duplicates and unlike clone spy..there is no back-up if you want to restore it.. I don't install ANY fonts...I either use the load feature in the font thing or leave it open then it shows up in my graphics proggies. I also use font explorer..which is what I am primarily using now to get my almost 2 gigs of fonts organized...it allows me to select the font from the preview pane and move it to a different folder...this is how I organize my fonts to find them easily when I want a certain kind/type/style..whatever..lol...I'm still missing some categories but I'm getting there!
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v173/star17abby/fonts.gif

What is the font proggie you use? If you want the font renamer proggie I use I can email it to you..it's pretty tiny...

Holy Moley! and I thought I was a Font-a-Holic ;) *only 1.2gb of Fonts mainly T1 and no dings* and you are alot more organised than me.

the app I use isFont Frenzy not bad little free app, does need registering to remove a nag screen.

If the renamer you have is this one I have it but not got around to using it yet http://www.neuber.com/free/fontrenamer/index.html if its not this one then YES please I would like it.
