I think the font renamer in this link is the other one I tried and didn't care for. The one I use will rename ttf, adobe type and otf. Also, if it hits a 'bad' font it doesn't stop there like so many of the others do. Will send it along to ya...it can do the folder and all sub folders at once and leaves a txt file with a list of the fonts contained in each folder. Here's a tip for you if you don't already do this the I have found to be a huge time saver...right click on your font folder, choose properties and remove the 'read only' status....depending on how many fonts you have it may take a while but it saves you loads in the long run when moving fonts around and having to keep clicking yes to the 'do you really want to move this read only file' PITA dialog box. Still can't figure out why some font authors save fonts as read only...

Font frenzy I tried and didn't care for...I rely heavily of the load feature to temporarily load fonts into windows (re-boot removes them) for programs that don't recognize an opened font file and IRC, font frenzy didn't have this feature.

LOL I was back in bed....got my wake up call ala-star so I'm back up....coffee is brewing.....again! then I'm off for a cold shower...I still fee like I haven't slept. lol Chris seems to have his second wind right now but I'm gonna feed him an early dinner then send him off to bed when he gets home. Wouldn't be so bad if we went to bed last night at a decent hour

Now, I suggest you turn that ringer off on your phone because finishing that cup of coffee is MUCH more important!
