And on a kinda related topic, gun parts, I finally got my magazines! This has been a major ordeal for all involved. Multiple forums talked about it, it got ugly. My money order is dated 11-8-10. Now, this was a 'group buy' where you order as a group, get a special price, but have to wait a bit. Well, we waited and waited, through all kinds of drama. I will leave it at that. But I do believe, 6.8SPC magazine 'preparedness' has been achieved. :-D At around $1 a bullet, might take me a bit of time to get the ammo part taken care of...

Besides, I'm always correct, for a given value of correct. And I always mix those two up.

 

Most guns come with a mag or two, mine did not, as I kinda assembled it. The 'group buy' was placed by a few of us on another forum. We had to order a certain amount of mags to get the special price. I think the total $ of mags ordered was $3800. :-D

The mags in the picture are now mine. Been waiting on them since December... It got a bit ugly. The company has been shipping people magazines and in some cases refunds.

You load the magazine(s) with bullets, then you insert the mag into the gun, fire, and load a loaded mag and shoot, or load the empty mag, and then shoot again. Plus, the magazines are a good place to store your extra ammo.

And of course, you have to be prepared for the zombie invasion you know. rolleyes

And with the talk of reinstating the assault weapon ban at least in regard to high capacity magazines, they might make a good little investment.
