hey guys, i was wondering if you could help me out here. i am planning a computer build and i have a cpu selected: Intel Pentium 4/ 2.6C GHz 800MHz FSB, 512K Cache, Hyper Threading Technology and i have a motherboard selected: SOLTEK "SL-915GPro-FGR" 915G Chipset Motherboard For Intel LGA 775 CPU; are they gonna work together? the motherboard says: Supported CPU: LGA775 Pentium 4(HT) Processors, so how do i know if that cpu is a lga775? thanks guys for any help.

only presscotts are made to fit 775 ... you have a northwood which is at the end of its production cycle and will need a 478 mobo or buy a 775 compatible presscott
