Motherboard bios question.

After finding out that my motherboard the ABIT AN-M2 is imcompatible with my 8800 GT OC, I have a question to ask. I was reading some topics on this specific problem and a few people mentioned that this would hopefully be solved in an upcoming bios release. Now the question is.. Can I download some kind of new BIOS that is already compatible to run a 8800 GT OC?

 

Your best bet would be to contact Abit with the problem as the would be best suited to come up with an answer....

 

I've tried emailing ABIT several times. They refuse to answer my emails and refuse to return my calls when I leave a message. This option looks like this is my only option now. I spent $999.99 on a computer and I find out that the graphics card is incompatible with my motherboard. :confused

 

I would email them with an ultimatum help or you will get a lawyer, Thats what i would do usually gets peoples attention

 

Well, besides the email part, is there anything that I can do to get this to work?

Is it possible to just install a new BIOS? A BIOS that is already compatible with this graphics card??

I'm not talking about a BIOS from ABIT. I'm talking like a BIOS version from ASUS

 

Well the only other thing I can suggest would be to try the Abit web site and see if they have a user forum. Surely someone else has experienced this problem as well. Either that or you are gonna have to bite the bullet and go for a motherboard that'll work for you......
