    Hey all

    Short story-ish here:
I'm pretty sure i've busted my Mobo somehow, while moving my AX3400 HTPC to a larger case and booting up i heard a loud spark from somewhere (i think one of the PSU wires touches the case) and since then the computer has had trouble booting up. At first i thought my PSU was defective so i used 2 other spares i have lying around the house, both worked for a short time before blue screens started happening again and the pc constantly reboots just after POST.. (my 550 just full on stopped turning on..) i brought an OCZ silentXStream hoping that i just might be needing a solid PSU to provide a stable current to my mobo (the others i had were OEM and cheap-ish ones) and when it came in the mail today i fitted it in and my PC run great!... for 20 minutes until the same BS started happening again, blue screens, video crashes and freezing.

So i guess it can't be the PSU that is the problem and i've done something to the motherboard, which is a shame i guess but it was only an HTPC mobo with one PCI slot.

    **Question**

So yeah now i'm looking for a new mobo to fit in, and my question is: Is there a good mobo out there that is combatible with the AMD X3 III Processor i'm currently using AND will be combatible with the Phenom X CPU series i plan to buy a couple of weeks after? I could go 2-3 weeks without a PC waiting for both parts but i'd rather not if i could get a mobo that would work with the cpu i have too

I don't really know how to make sure if a CPU is combatible with different Mobos and i'm scared of buying one that doesn't fit my CPU

If anyone could help that'd be great
