This is my first thread, so many questions. I am looking for the motherboard spec's for my computer but do not know how to access it so I can see if the upgrade video card I want to put in will be compatable. Help?

    Hi and Welcome

First thing is to know what motherboard you have installed, its manufacturer and its model number, to aid in this get EVEREST ( Free ) and in Computer > Summary it will tell you the info needed.

Then just search the manufacturers site for the specs list, if you have trouble doing this please post the motherboard manufacturer and model version of the board and we will help you.

If your PC is an OEM one as in DELL, HP, SONY etc then post the make and model number as this will help find the specs.
