Motor from my old floor fan

Hi. I just took apart my old floor fan and removed the motor, power supply and switch. I want to make something cool out of it. Maybe a slingshot or something. Any suggestions?

 

Why not make an RC car out of it? You'll have to make a frame large enough to hold all of the stuff, but you could probably build an RC and use the fan motor for the car motor.


oops, that might not work. The fan motor might not have enough torque.

 

make an RC bike out if then ... less weight

Build a hovercraft. I know it can be done with vacuum cleaner motors, though it may not be able to lift an adult with your motor.

what was wrong with the fan?
if it doesn't work, what good would it do you?

build a press to crush cans and stuff, only problem being that that isn't even a single phase motor. . .so you couldn't go back up. . .but you could rig some gears, a belt , and couple cams. .it can be done

edit:
in fact you could make it the flywheel motor and add a couple clutch's and brakes. . .
