Motorola Phone tools

My son has a Motorola V1050 and wishes to put music and images onto his phone.

I have currently purchased a new system with Vista x32 home premium and im having trouble installing my sons phone.

We have installed phone tools, but it wont recognise his phone. we are connecting to his phone VIA USB.

Any advice on how to get his phone recognised or to get tools working? Its saying something about software and drivers.

The phone tools version is 3.0

Check with the phone tools manufactor that its vista compitable with vista, as vista is fairly new it may not yet work with vista.

Reading as few mobilephone forums it seems that version 4.32 may work with some Moto phones but not all, so as Colemanguys says check with Motorola if they have a download updates, but sadly phone makers are slow to upgrade their software for full compatability with vista.

Also if you can get Version 4 of the Phone tools, rigth click the setup file and install as Admin as this can help the software install ok in Vista.
