mouse cursor hanging for no reason

    doesnt matter what im doing, out of nowhere the mouse cursor just hangs and it spins until i exit whatever im doing. most recently i was writing a letter in a word processor and it just froze. its an HP all in one computer with windows 7. its not even a year old yet. ive run malwarebytes and ive also run ccleaner

    i rebooted it and cleaned sprayed the back with canned air. seems to have at least temporarily fixed the problem. not sure how long that will last though

    Mouse aren't that expensive - spring for a new one. You can keep the problem rodent as a spare. :-D

    not sure its the mouse, i cant do anything else while the cursor is spinning. is it really possible the mouse is the problem?
