I gave also notice that when I do virus and trojan scans I seem to get a lot of hits with such things as tribalfusion???, get the linkgrabber99, harvester 2.301, I even got a hit jsut now when doing some cleaning up befor running HIJaak this of the CWS.MSConfig (when running CWShredder).

I have ran all of the required programs that you have stated that need to be run. I ran the windows defender AFTER I rebooted into normal mode and connected the cable. This ran and no harmful software was found.

This is not normally malware. It is normally one of two things:

    1) Mouse needs cleaning

    2) Defective mouse

Cookies are not problems and you will always have cookies any time you surf. See step 11 in How to Protect yourself from malware!

You do not show any signs of malware on your PC. Besides you mouse problem (which is not malware) do you have any malware problems?

You are running too many antispyware realtime blocking programs.

Is Ewido a free trial or paid version?
Is Spyware Doctor a free trial or paid version?

First ...I want thank you for your help in this....

Ewido is a paid version. spyware Dr is a trial
As for the mouse problem... it is an optical mouse.... On close exam... it seems that there is ...strike that... there was a small piece of paper floating around in front of the hole / eye. Had to shake up the mouse for the paper to appear and that is prob why the errratic mouse and whyy I didnt see... it was hiding half of the time.... I have just removed it and that solved the problem... apparently the paper was interfering with the optics and this "cleaning " resolved that problem...

    Ill dump the Spyware Dr

Im off to Step 11 "How to protect yourself from malware."

I want to again thank you for your help in this matter and putting my mind at ease...... I was worried about the eratic mouse movement and was thinking I got infected....
