Mouse/My computer

I installed a new Logitech Laser wireless mouse because the old wired mouse quiet working. I have done something wrong because now the mouse won't scroll untill I hit the down arrow on the keyboard. When I go to my computer
and click on the (f drive the (c drive opens. On the desk top when I click on an icon the recycle bin opens. This thing is so messed up I finally reformated it with the disks I made when I purchased the computer. The formating did not fix anything. Formated for the second time and still no results. This is the second hard drive installed and has worked great until I changed the mouse. Have installed the drivers for the mouse. I tried a wired mouse with the same results.:-o
have tried to install windows 7 premium 32b update but the (f drive will not
reconize disk.
