Can someone help me I am using a toshiba satellite pro 512 laptop with an external mouse by creative, For 3 weeks now I have been head strung because my mouse moves on its own I can not controll it, I know it is not the mouse because the internal mouse is the same, it is confusing but the bottom line is my mouse feels like it is being pulled by another user if that makes sense. As well it jumps to the top of the page when I touch the space bar, could this be a virus?

Anything is possible, to rule out Malware follow the below.

    http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Download HijackThis 1.99.1

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the ZIP file as your backups will not be safely stored.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifBefore running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gifRun HijackThis and save your log file.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/images/grenade.gif Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next post. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post as it will be removed).

Thank you guys for everyones support, Major geeks is very helpfull everyone is quick too lend a hand that is appreciated, I just wanted to inform everyone that it is none of the above if you can believe it! I found out that it was a connection problem on my keyboard, I found that out with long hours of research and it was not fun, what I did was replaced my keyboard with a new one and the problem is now gone.

PS I thank everyone for the kind support and look forward to the future in the forums.
