mouse problem not hardware, might be malware

OK when i moved to college and attached to their network i started having mouse problems, every so often the mouse jumps to the lower left hand corner and sticks there for 2-5 seconds and then it fine again. I talked to people i know and they are having the same problem. when i had to hook up to their network they made me uninstall avast antivirus and had to install symantec and also had to install cicso clean access agent, and a bunch of patches and things that it did automatically. i did all the scans and nothing came up i sure would like to find out of its a virus or something thanks.

i also forgot to add the i got a different mouse and its still doing it, i uninstalled the old driver and my new mouse is a ps/2 mouse, so no drivers needed. does anyone see anything out of the ordinary?

Your bitdefender log is clean.

I can't see anything out of the ordianry in any of your other logs.

Do you know exactly what they asked you to install ? A mouse jumping like that can occur when someone accesses or disconnects from your computer with a remote access program such as VNC but I can see no evidence of having one installed. Also you are running ZA so unless someone has deliberatly configured it to allow this thorugh it would have blocked any access attempt.

I think at this point we can assume your problem is not malware related. I suggesst you pop over to the software or hardware forum and ask there.
