I have a optical combo mouse Sn IBMM 158400. Every time I start my p.c. the pointer does not move. I have to disconnect and reconnect the mouse. I would like to have the driver software. Can U help?:)

I can't find many search results for "Sn IBMM 158400". Is there a another name for the mouse from the box or maybe the underside of the mouse itself?

    Go to CONTROL PANEL>SYSTEM>DEVICE MANAGER.

First, do any items in the list ("tree") have a yellow ? or red x by them? If so, double click on the item and choose "Update Driver" (you must be connected to the Internet). Sometimes Windows will find an updated driver doing this; other times not.

Another thing to try is, while the mouse is connected, use the same steps above to disable the device and remove the driver (if you are not sure which driver is for the mouse, skip this step). At this point, disconnect the mouse, reboot the PC then reconnect the mouse. Windows will automatically search for a driver - usually the generic Windows mouse driver is more stable than mouse mfrs' software.

    Hope this helps. :)
