    Hey,

I use a Razor Diamondback 3G and I have had several people tell me it be the cause of my regular (after windows updates) Blue screens.
I've seen that some people are fine with this and other mice by Razor but other people have problems like mine.

I'd like to upgrade and try to eliminate this as a factor.
I'd love to have another Razor but am concerned.

I need a fast gaming mouse with an erganomic design..any suggestions or any info on the driver issue with Razors?
    I use Windows 7 64bit Home edition.

    Hi

What are the BSOD codes you are getting? a guide HERE and how to attach the logs.

What is the make and model of your PC if one from say DELL, HP etc or if a home build what is the make and model of the Motherboard? asking this as I know that in some instances its the Nvidia chipset driver thats the cause as well as the ATK0110 driver (this one may just need an update).

Do you after a Windows Update get the driver working again for the mouse without any BSODs until the next round of Windows Udpate and if you do what did you do, was it just re-installing the mouse driver/software again?

I have a dump zipped file I did earlier for another forum will that do or do you need this particular program to do it on here?

    My PC specs are..

    Phenom II X4 965
Phenom II X4 Motherboard Asus M4AB9GTD
    8Gb DDR3 1333 Memory
    GeForce GTX 460 gfx card

For my previous BSODs I've used system restore which has worked and the next time I've installed the updates things have been fine. It doesn't BSOD after every windows update but the only times I've BSOD has been after one of the updates.

This time I have tried system restore and only got a black screen. I got in via F* to check start up and it found no problems so I tried to restore to an earlier date which seemed to work and I was using my PC fine for about 15 minutes then got another BSOD.
I had to go out and left my PC scanning my hard drive. Came back and it seems to be ok for now but there are a few scans I've been asked to do and it won't do them. (System File Checker and generating a System Health Report)

I've downloaded the program for later. Since I have had no more blue screens since posting here I will include the dump I have from earlier on.

From a quick look at the latest dump in BSV, the loaded DB3G.sys driver is very old:
    Try this one
. I haven't downloaded or tested it, once installed, check the file dates on the installed drivers in Device Manager - or post up the next dump.
