Hi everyone, I have just formmatted my computer and reinstalled all my drivers but for some reason my mouse doesnt work. It also wasn't working for some strange reason before I formmated. Im currently using my notebooks touchpad and I belive my mouse is one of these two (they both look exactly like mine)

Are you using the original drivers? Is the mouse not responding at all, does it look like the computer sees that you have a mouse but it isn't working, or is it as if it didn't exist?

Try downloading the latest drivers from Logitech, see if that helps.

If drivers doesn't help, it might be that it is "broken". Do you still have a warranty on it?

When I put it in my USB it says your software is installed and ready to use but it doesn't move the cursor at all. And I can't find the drivers on the site.

what o.s. are you using? and if its xp, is it up to date w/ sp2?

Yes im using XP proffesional w/sp2. But before I formmatted I had Vista and it was working fine, it just stopped when I took it to a friends house, and since its a laptop I unplugged the reciever. When I put the reciever back in it just completly didn't work.

Have yu tried plugging anything else into the port to check that it's not the port? Have you tried another usb mouse?

    2 cents worth,
Any chance the battery is dead.
Can you try it in another PC.

Usually a reset button after you replace the batteries.

I dont think its the batteries theres a light on the bottom thats solid green, I also replaced them thinking its the problem and theres no difference. I haven't tried it on a different computer but I will try it on my other desktop.

    Does a PS2 mouse work?

Sorry but what is a PS2 mouse? Also I tried it in my other desktop and it didn't work so It may be the mouse.

Did you hit the reset on the reciever and the mouse?

It would be a mouse with a PS2 connector on the end instead of a USB connector.

There is no reset button on the reciever and the one on the mouse doesn't do anything. Also I tried my other wired usb mouse and it worked so the mouse is probly broken or something.
