   Each time I boot up my computer I have to reset the double-click speed for my mouse. For some reason it goes to the fastest setting when I re-boot and I have to re-set it to medium speed.
   
   Windows XP, Synaptics and I use a USB wireless mouse.

   It might help if you mentioned the brand and model of mouse and version of mouse software you are currently using.
   
   Have you tried another mouse? Does the same thing happen?
