Mouse won't left click, had 2 rt-click/enter my way here!

Hi Chaslang and Everyone! Hope you are well.

It started out when my DD put a flashdrive in. After that I kept getting messages that a USB port was disfunctioning but everytime I checked them out in device manager it said they were all fine.

Still I'd get the announcements and everytime they came up the wordprocessing screen would not allow me to write until I closed out and came back on. Finally I went to device manager to disable or uninstall the USBs.

Then about a month or two later, my mouse started acting funny (about a week ago). When I right-clicked and copied some words, then went to another page to right-click and paste, the paste was empty. It wouldn't transfer.

A few days ago I was saying that my geography is bad like most Americans and then I went to youtube to watch Miss South Carolina --and when I clicked on the video, my cursor which is normally an arrow turned into a miniature version of the screen with Miss South Carolina on it.

Ever since then, I cannot left-click on anything! On certain things I can right-click and when I can't I've resorted to hit "Tab" until I get to where I need to be and then hit Enter to get a page change. That's how I got here!

I tried to "enable" the USBs in the device manager. Two of them say they are enabled, and three of them are keeping the choice to enable or disable in grey so that I can't have access to them (USB Composite Device, USB Root Hub). I don't know if this is how it always is, or because of the time I disabled or uninstalled them.

My computers diagnostics test says that the mouse is working fine. All the tests passed except 2 failed -- SATA Disk S/N = WD - WCANK Read Test and "Verify Test". They say: "Error Code OFOO:1A44 Msg Block 41856929 Uncorrectable data or media is write protected.

I also did Spyware Search & Destroy, SuperAnti-Spyware, Malware Bytes and Combo Fix and nothing came up.

Also I can't find my Windows XP disc...I tried to reinstall it on the Windows site but nothing changed.

Please help, do you think it's hardware and/or spyware?
