Hi, I'm getting a lot of problems on click-throughs e.g. google search/result/click result, then no pass through to next site. I then get the "No Connection to Server" message. Getting to bookmarks seems ok, but from browsers, wow.

I've checked Mozilla, my main browser (but fault just as consistent in IE). I'm using MS2k. Have followed all the steps and cleansing.

Attached is my MGLogs files. Tks in advance any help.

We need all of the requested logs. Please attach the logs from SUPERAntiSpyware, Malwarebytes, and ComboFix.

Also note you skip the instructions in step 1 for uninstalling old Sun Java versions and installing the current version. You need to do this now.

Try this browser Opera Does it work properly?

I was preparing to send the logs and found, upon reading yr tip re Opera browser, that I would try it. None of the other problems appear to occur, so using Opera will appear to solve the problem. Thanks greatly for that tip !

Using Opera is just a work around. It would still be a good idea to check out the rest of the logs from the READ & RUN ME and for you to do the other things I suggested. You really need to make sure there is no malware at play.

I don't like the looks of the below two files
    Code:
    "C:\WINNT\system32\"
    msqtvcap.dat 16 Oct 2008 9264 "msqtvcap.dat"

    "C:\WINNT\Temp\"
    cnq2403c.shd 16 Oct 2008 1 "CNQ2403C.shd"
This does not mean they are bad. I just question what they are!

Your logs are all clean. And if Opera was fine at first and then it appears to have problems, it may just be that the problem is with your internet connection. Other things to look at are your Sygate firewall and AVG8 especially the linkscanner which can cause problems.
