Mozilla Firefox 16 upgrade taken offline due to vulnerability

    Yup, I did a manual update via Help>about Firefox on Tuesday to v 16.0 and did find out yesterday about the problem. Have been using Pale Moon browser since. A fix is supposed to come out today for the Firefox browser.

    I just manually updated Firefox 16.0 via Help>About ... and it updated to v 16.0.1

    Just to let you know you can now upgrade to version 16 on their website. Looks like the vulnerability has been fixed.

    The fixed update, 16.0.1, was available on the Major Geeks home page for October 11, 2012.
