Mozilla Firefox Keeps Crashing

I recently did a fresh wipe of Windows 7 SP1 while upgrading my ram and going to an SSD. So the last few days, getting back to installing my needed programs and tweaking settings. I have never had an issue with Firefox before. It is updated to the most recent version (45.0.1). I have added screenshots of my extensions and plugins. These are the exact same ones I had before I did the upgrade and re-install. I submit a crash report each time. I try to copy/paste what it says in the crash report but it won't let me copy the text. And it's a bunch of tech jargon that I can't decipher. Don't know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated. It gets the point where it might crash up to 5 times a minute.

There should be links in the jargon/about:crashes page, if you paste them in a reply, I can chase them up to try to figure out what the issue is, whether it's probably on your side, or whether it's on Mozilla's end, see #37 onwards here for an example.

This is what happens when the page crashes. My browser closes. And then pops up on the desktop

And this is what comes up when you click 'Details'. I am not seeing anything like what you linked me to.

The crash links are accessed from Firefox' about:crashes page, can you access that? If so, click on each of the links and copy/paste each resulting link in a reply.

The crash shown looks like it could be Flash, VLC or maybe HTML5, it's a crash trying to play an mp3 on YouTube, I've no clue what the default should be for that.

Ahhhh I see now. Here they are. Won't list every one of them as it's a very long list and it's all probably the same.

Thanks. I'm struggling to find a connection between these varied crashes, I'll try again later, there should be further identical crashes listed on Bugzilla to compare by then.

Can you try fully uninstalling Flash (with all browsers closed), rebooting and then installing either the ESR version 18.0.0.333 (my preference) plugin or the 21.0.0.197 plugin version of Flash. There was an issue that was 'fixed' by 21.0.0.197, which was released a day or so ago (which didn't affect the ESR version). Select the "Download@Author's site (EXE or MSI)" here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/adobe_flash_player.html

Can you explain what the ESR version is? I will give that a shot if it is your preference. Thanks.

And I just uninstalled Flash using the uninstaller.

ESR = Extended Service Release, a stable version suitable for business use, etc., as opposed to the latest version, which is where all the new stuff (that's more likely to crash, ime) gets added, both versions still get full security patches when needed.

Had it crash again and flash isn't even re-installed. I'm guessing we can rule that out as the culprit? No idea what it could be. It's getting excessive, too. I was just doing some online banking and it crashed on me.

    This is the report link

An initial easy to do quick troubleshooting method is to uninstall Firefox (a standard uninstall will not remove the profile), then restart the system, then download a new Firefox set up file and reinstall it as new.
See whether that resolves the crashing.

It's a memory allocation error, in jemalloc, that's been around since 2015-06-12, there's been 160+ crashes from Firefox 45.01 alone in the last 3 days. There are no Bugzilla reports or correlations listed for it yet :( (Currently Ranked #163 here.)

With any type of memory-related crashes in software, you'll need to rule out malware.

I'd suggest uninstalling Firefox and testing with Firefox ESR 38.7.1 (it's the current business class version, ESR = Extended Service Release, there's a new v 45 ESR but that's really still in the testing/Beta stage): https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/ <- scroll down past the Search box and on the right, click the Show: Firefox 38 to get the correct version listed, then select the version for your location.

Whatever you do, don't try to access your banking or any other password online account until after you've thoroughly tested your PC for malware and tested the 'new' browser on a range of other sites that would have crashed the previous browser.

Thanks man! I will do that today and see what happens.

I checked for malware or any vriuses and it found nothing.
Uninstalled Firefox and re-installed from the link given a few posts up.
    Flash is still not installed.
Still crashed today. No idea what is going on. I don't want to move back to Chrome but I might have to. This is getting ridiculous.
