MP3 files mysteriously reorganized

Help! Out of nowhere, all of my mp3 files have been organized into individual folders by artist. I use windows vista home premium. I used to open windows explorer and all of my mp3 files were listed alphabetically. Now, I have to click 3-4 times thru folders by artist just to reach one track. What a pain. What has happened? I didn't choose a function to reorganize them. Frustrated. Can this be reversed?:confused

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

What music player(s) do you have?

 

I use windows media player because of the add-ons. Like the eq, and speed function.
My files however, have been reorganized in my windows explorer view

 

I have no experience with this program but it was recommended in another thread.

You might create a test folder and put/copy about five music/artist folders in it to see if it works the way you want it to before using it on your main music folder.
