Mp3 player that allows organizing by subfolders?

I picked up my first mp3 player this weekend, a Creative Zen Micro, and had a rude shock when the batch of music I copied, so meticulously sorted into folders and subfolders on my PC, was dumped into one gigantic root folder on the player. It turns out the Zen Micro doesn't allow the creation of folders at all and, on top of that, only displays a file's ID3 tag rather than its filename. So not only is it bad enough that everything's in one directory but now I'm also left with songs on the player vaguely called "Untitled" or "Seasons" because their ID3 tags aren't complete. This, to me, is totally unacceptable and it completely backwards from how I'd expect a player to work.

Granted, I am new to this whole mp3 player thing so maybe I'm just coming into it with too lofty a set of expectations. But can anyone tell me if there is indeed a good, reliable mp3 player for around $200 that'll let either a) retain my music folders when I copy files over or b) let me create folders directly on the player and then be able to move music over into them? I'd rather deal with folders that ID3 tags as folders make more sense to me. It would also be nice if I could just drag-and-drop files over instead of having to run through a proprietary program or using something like iTunes or Media Player.

Does this sort of player exist or am I dreaming?

Thanks for any and all assistance,

If there is one, I've yet to hear of it.
The Godfather [click here] will add ID3 tags from the file and folder names. It can even be used to get tag info from the freedb album info database.

My Axim X50v uses Windows Media Player and displays all of the track info. I can organize music and create playlist just like on a regular PC. It's roughly $400 + you need to buy the storage media (SD or CF, which in higher capacities can get pricey. They make 6 GB CF cards, but they cost a lot. 1 GB SD cards can be had for like $50, so I keep a couple of them around).

If you're looking for strictly an MP3 player, this wouldn't be a good choice due to cost + lack of built-in storage, but if you are already thinking about a richly featured PDA, this thing is bad-ass.
