mp3

**i have no clue where this should go**

so those anyone know how to change the information on a mp3 so that when i put it on my mp3 player it will have artist name instead of saying no information. I tryed changing it manualy on windows media player but still nothing.

 

I know winamp you can change information on the mp3 using alt+3

Right click the file you want to change, click properties, then click the summary tab, then advanced (if there is no advanced tab you are already there), then double click on the white space next to artist, type in artist nameclick OK and you should be done.

(I am assuming you are using xp?)

 

You can do it via Windows Media Player. (at least on WMP10)

Under the Now Playing list in the right-hand side, right-click the file, then Advanced Tag Editor.
