mp3z wont play in back-up drive

    when i try to play an mp3 from my backup drive (with no bootable OS in it)...it won't...if i copy it to my desktop main drive with (xp-pro) it plays.
    any ideas what's goin on here? thanks.:cool::cool::cool::cool:

    just to add to this, wmplayer.exe (which i found running through ctrl+alt+del) couldn't be killed through any process control program, alt+ctrl+del, ittybitty from merijn, i'm assuming it's because there are some dll files that are being shared by wmplayer with other programs i have running in the background that it can't be killed?
