MPAA offers illegal file checker to parents

Nice try at putting the onus on parents to do the dirty work of searching of their kids PCs for p2p soft and downloads..... just a pitty they didnt test this app

There is a catch though. The software, developed by DtecNet Software ApS can't tell the difference between legal and illegal copies. Therefore the over zealous parent may end up removing the complete works of Marilyn Manson which their pride and joy has just blown their month's allowance on downloading legally. The site says that it is up to the parent to confront the child as to whether the content has been obtained legally or illegally.
