MSConfig Startup Mode

    I am attempting to follow the initial steps in removal, but when I come to the MSConfig Startup Mode, I cannot access. When I enter 'msconfig' in the run cmd box, I get this error: System Configurataion Untility has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Is it possible that I have malware preventing me from accessing it?

    FYI- I get the same result when attempting to run msconfig while in Safe Mode.

    Yes it is possible! Just continue thru with the rest of the READ & RUN ME and we will deal with this when we can. For all we know, you could already be in Normal Startup mode anyway. ;)
