MSN Messenger 6.0 (No Audio)

    I upgraded from 5.0 to 6.0 lost audio. Mic & Speakers test okay use other communication programs no problems. Removed and reinstalled 5.0 no audio. Removed and reinstalled 6.0 and still no audio. Had no problems until I loaded 6.0. I am using W98, have no zone alert running & other friends of mine with W98 & XP are having identical problems. Need help, Thanks

    did you re-run the audio tuning wizard?

    Audio tuning wizard is fine. Both speakers and mic work fine. When one mentions taking labels off not sure exactly what and how one means. Thanks

    I'm not sure it would help much, but try upgrading the sound card drivers. Go to the website of whatever sound card manufacterer you have... for example, I have Sound Blaster Audigy. Can't hurt to update to the latest driver.
