MSN Messenger

I have a problem getting MSN Messenger up and running... I tryed reinstalling but when I try to open the program it shows hour glass for a few seconds and disappears. Any help would be great, please. :]

I also have MSN Messenger and it really aggravates me most the time.
It takes 'forever' to get signed on and sometimes I don't get signed on at all and get an error message.
Sometimes the Voice doesn't work and I have to close out of messenger and sign back on for it to work.
Sometimes Games don't work and again I must close it out and start over.
I think it's just plain 'buggy'

Things have been slightly better since I uninstalled it and reinstalled, but I had to use a reg cleaner to remove some entries left behind that were interfering with the new install.
I just used the Issues tab in CCleaner and ticked the MSN Messenger related items.
