msn virus

When i was on msn, i got this message from a friend saying: "Hey its you" and then link that ended with my e-mail. I cliked and run the program...(stupid me...) so now my computer is infected. My anti virus is turned off and i cant turn it back on. I can't run any anti spyware/virus programs. The task manager disappears after a second, but i can see that a appliication called 'Project' is running. Its dos progam.
Whenever i login to msn messenger, i (the virus) automatically sends the "hey, its you" message with the link to all thats online in my contact list.
So my computer is pretty ****ed...

Could anyone please help me with this and tell me how to get rid of it so my computer is clean again?

It sounds like a W32@mm worm most are mass-mailing worm that also spreads through file-sharing networks. The email will have a variable subject and attachment name. The attachment will have a .com, .cpl, .exe, or .scr file extension. For more informantion follow this link

I'm getting the same thing... someone told me to get hijack this and put the log on here... and someone would help.....

Thats my file... i dun no if anything is wrong in it... so i need someone to tell me asap.... it comes up alot... then someone said to get the adware / spy ware thingo.... and i got rid of the spyware... but i don't know
My thing comes up with "lol look at this" then posts the link.... i clicked it... and i got it... from someone... who got it from someone else... whom i need to get information to help too.... i delted msn7 as someone suggested... but it comes up on windows messenger too.... we need help to get rid of this shit... so could somone plz help us?

Please do not post your problems in another users thread. Please read the sticky threads. Follow the steps in this:

READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

If still having a problem afterwards, start a new thread and state what you found while running the READ ME and what problems remain.

If you still have problems, follow the steps below!

- Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

- Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem:

- Download HijackThis 1.99.1

- Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

- Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

- Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

- Run HijackThis and save your log file.

- Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).
