mspaint.exe....

mcadam Major Amnesia

.....is missing from my computer, gone!

Searched for it, tried to run it by typing in the command from start > run, tried to add it in add windows components, not there, so lost!

I swear it was there a few days ago and now it's just gone

Any ideas?

Did you try with your cd original xp ,i think you have xp right ???

Put the cd in and go to add-remove program should work if not maybe something is wrong in the registry.....

I would go Clarks way and goto Add/Remove > Add/Remove Windows Components > Accessories and Utilities > Accessories and even if Paint is checked uncheck it and click OK > OK > Next then go back and put a check mark next to paint and the same x2 OKs and a next to re-install it.

have you been using any tweak apps?

Cheers Halo, forgot to double click accessories and utilities!

Also the XP Disc did it fine, all sorted now thanks

Haven't been using any Tweak Apps, only reformatted a week ago
