    I've got missing dll's too...

    ATL80
    MFC80U
    MSVCR80
    MSVCP80

I saw the thread harvey_mayway left, similar prob.
Had it once B4 but some1/thing somewhere corrected it?!?
    Now it's back & I can't run many program's.

Also I've still got THEME prob's & conflict's with MESSENGER combined.
(correct 1 prob. just to be confronted with several other's)
    Aaaarghhhhhhh! :confused

    P.s. I did run RemoveIT & it found 10 prob's.

First, while RemoveIT is excellent at picking up some of the more obscure malware that slips through some other scans, it also has a tendency for false positives and has been known to delete things it shouldn't. When I run a scan with RemoveIT, I save the scan log and then exit before it deletes/quarantines anything. I then manually check out each file in the log. Anyway- the files you listed above are all part of Visual Studio and/or Visual C (C+). You can download the Visual C runtimes from Microsoft at this link. You may want to run Dial-A-Fix first; check all the boxes in the Registration Center and click "Go". If any errors occur, make notes and we'll try to help. If you do get errors, install the Microsoft download, then try running Dial-A-Fix again and see if the results change.
    Good luck!!!

(I know, Dial-A-Fix looks a bit scary at first and you might think that it can seriously screw up your PC; it can't. It does not write any files or remove at files, it simply tries to fix the files that are already there, and it does not fix stuff that does not need fixing; no worries; I've used DAF dozens of times and never had it cause a problem, but it has fixed MANY problems easily and is always a good option when dealing with DLL problems)

Hi there dlb. As I've just said to Halo, I used sys. restore & thing's are back in opperating order... minus being able to open my email server. I had to come here via google & check forum. I'm gonna' re-boot & see if that help's (finger's crossed).
I'll make a note of the link's you've left too & will look at them for future reference.
    Thanx fella.

    Xtra note to dlb.
Chopped liver...? NOOOOOOO not at all.
