MSXML 4.0 Update Problem

Ok the problem is this. In the auto updates I installed the msxml 4.0 but the update keeps wanting me to install. How can I possibly fix this. I even went to the Microsoft Update site and it says it is already installed. P;ease help. Thanks in advance!!

 

Go to Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel and locate MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB927978), remove/uninstall it.

Empty your Temporary Internet files and restart the computer.

Disable your Anti-Virus and reinstall msxml 4.0 again and restart.

Ok the problem is it is not in the add/remove.

 

What I meant to say is it is not in my add/remove programs

 

Make sure that Show updates is enabled under Add/Remove, it's at the top right-hand side.

Also, make sure that Show hidden files and folders is enabled, see below.

Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
Double-click on the My Computer icon.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
After the new window appears select the View tab.
Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.
Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.

Look again for the update and see if it is listed.
