    Hey, does anyone know of any good theory books that can help me learn the theory behind multimedia application development? For example say you wanted to create a program that was a media player application. Are there any books out there anyone knows of to help learn the underlining theory behind such an application (i.e. most suitable languages, best practices, ect.) Thanks a lot!
