Multiple Emails Being Sent

Using Outlook Express. Each time an email is sent it shows error...then says no error...email sends and also gets dropped in Outbox where it continuosly gets sent until noticed and removed. Any thoughts?

Still hoping for some insight. Should I reinstall Outlook Express?
To get around the problem we've had to stop saving emails to our SENT ITEMS and we have to drop the email in the OUTBOX and the send from there. ???

So, it does work if you turn off "Save to Sent Items"? If you press send, does it send emails, or still gives an error? Look in Control Panel > Adminstrative Tools > Events and see what errors are showing. Also, http://www.slipstick.com has a lot of info on there for users of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Express.

 

Taking off the "Save a Copy in Sent Items" and dropping email in Outbox then sending is the only way it will work. It shows error, but gives no info/detail on the error (blank).

If that is the case, then it is just OE being messed up as it is. You may want to try out Mozilla's Thunderbird, which is a pretty good email program, or Pegasus http://www.pmail.com which is also really good.
