multiple monitor

Hi huys and gals, i have a ep-8klm2 mobo with onboard graphics, i also have a really old rage 2 pci card i want to install and enjoy the FREE tft i have just been given, now i have disabled the onboard graphics n put the pci card in to check it works and the screen works all checked out good so left it in and turned my onboard graphics back on n now all i get in device manager is the card cannot start cdoe 10. now i searched this in it says driver probles so i changed the drivers n still the same. I get the feeling my mobo will not let me run onboard and pci at the same time????????????? anybody any answers???? please

 

No it won't.....in your bios configuration you should only enable one or the other.

Enabling both may cause a conflict of resources!

so i can still install two pci cards then??? yes and do it that way????

 

If a dual monitor set up is your aim.....you will need either, dual vid cards (PCI) or a single card that supports dual adaption!

To operate dual cards, your mobo must support this feature (SLI)!

Please post your system spec's for correct evaluation!
