multiple sound inputs and outputs

    im wanting to play 2 different sounds on my computer without them interfering with each other.

    What im trying to do is play music down ventrilo but not my gaming sounds. atm ive got my microphone plugged in and pointing at my speakers which is good for the music. but when i play games at the same time, people who are listening can hear my games. Im just wondering if theres a program that can emulate being an input.
