Wow, this kid can R.O.C.K. in the Your Tube Way - No doubt about it! ​

His unusual and fast 'fingering style' reminds me of the first time I ever saw Eddie Van Halen; playing in a dive hotel-bar in Pasadena CA around '73 (or maybe it was '74) prior to the Van Halen brother's band making it really bigtime in the late '70s and early '80s.

This was around the time when the Eddie and his brother Alex's band was called "Mammoth" and I believe it was just a few months or so before they decided to changed the name to Van Halen - when they found out that another band had the legal rights to the band name "Mammoth."

Anyway, I never in my life heard anything like Eddie Van Halen before that time. I remember thinking to myself: "What in gods name this guy doing in this dive!" <lol> But there was no question anyone's mind; who was sitting there at that hotel-bar that night enjoying the show, that Eddie was "going places." It was just incredible watching what he could do with that guitar!
