Okay so this might not be 'hardware" but I honestly don't know what it is. My computer has been freezing on me constantly lately. This is triggered often by music, anytime I play music at some point my computer will freeze. It has even begun to happen with Instant messages, some one will send a message and the comp freezes. It seems to me that it is happenning because my system becomes overwhelmed but I dont see how or why. I had a few weeks ago also a blue screen that says it was performing a memory dump or something, I hit restart, I didnt know what else to do.

Let me know if you could use any further info, I've been trying to get this straightened out for a while now.

When I scan with spybot search and destroy I get a "DSO exploit" which I always delete but each time I scan Its there again.

Here also is the hijack this log:

the DSO Exploit is just a bug in spybot there is a fix in the downloads section

you might try memtest also located in the download section .. also make sure all your drivers are updated and installed correctly

    HI

Thanks for the info. I Downloaded a memtest, not sure what it does really. What is the objective of performing a memtest? I'm looking for the DSO fix now.

    memtest tests your memory.

    What are your system specs?
