Got some of that, if you think anything is missing, holler. Added clickable links to sections and return to top links as well. Took a couple hours, but i think it makes it easier to navigate.

    Well done.

I think the best thing about this place is the outstanding effort you guys put into making this the best site possible for all us users.

    Great work.

There are only a couple that are not already listed on MG.
I would still recommend trying to get them onto MG.
They are great programs that I use all the time.
2 of the first 3 listed fall into that category.

I like RegSeeker for cleaning the register......I have not had any problems with it or had to restore from it's backups...Plus it has some good extras like the 'find in registry' tool

Added about 10 today, good stuff, exactly what I needed. It would take me longer to go section by section looking for more. Bazza's list has kept me busy, couple were shareware, one or two I disagreed with (nothing personal of course) and a couple i changed (people like keyfinder thing, they LOVE Keyfinder Thing Lite, for example). Finally a few are not listed here ... yet... so until I get to adding them and checking them out, I cant do that yet.

That said, 75% of Bazza's post will make it to the list and thats a pretty impressive list. Thanks everyone.

Keep em coming if you have more. As I said, our list was nice, but we have a very small list with a lot of room for more files and even sections. Heres the updated list:

I've often seen people asking how to convert iTunes (and other) music files to mp3. Here's some freeware that does just that...it's not on MGs Downloads yet so you may like to check it out Tim. Works great btw.

MA, I am using TreeSize Personal Disk Viewer 4.1.0.302.. It is good for seeing just what is on your HD and how big it is. I downloaded it free from Jam Software and I think it can still be downloaded free. Otherwise they do have a freeware version
It might be a good one to check out.

It' not free but it is cheap - Linkstash Bookmarks, for storing and sorting url's. I have used it about 2 years and really like it - for what it is worth. Lots of options.

Also, already listed, is Roboform - I can't live without it anymore ! HIGHLY recommended.

musksnipe, try this one out also.

Another great program to show where your hard drive space went.

    Scanner http://www.steffengerlach.de/freeware/scn2.zip
This tool uses a unique concentric pie chart to display the usage of your hard disk or other media. The chart shows all major files and folders from all directory levels at once

Works well, fast, and really does the job, IMHO. Bazza

Very nice compilation indeed MA. I know the way things are setup around here and I still have problems to find what I want even though everything is already nicely categorized. In the multimedia section, I'd like to suggest dBpowerAMP for the GNU folk for FLAC and OGG support for playing such and the conversion of said and other formats.

Also a nice program for those who only use outlook express, and do not have office installed:

oespell adds spell checking to outlook express:
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

I use thunderbird myself, which has built in spellchecking, but I've installed this on a number of people's computers in the past that wanted spellchecking. :)
